The Captain

Captain Julio was born and raised in Connecticut and began fishing the waters of Long Island from shore and dinghy as a young child. As his passion and experience grew, Capt. Julio graduated to larger vessels and began venturing farther and farther from shore. He has fished the waters of Cape Cod, George's Bank, Stellwagon Bank, Nag's Head (NC), New York, Connecticut and Rhode Island. Capt. Julio has had great success fishing all species of fish; some of his personal favorites include Shark, Atlantic Blue Marlin, Mahi-Mahi, Striped Bass, Bluefish and Fluke.

Capt. Julio presently holds a US 50 Ton Master Captain's License and all of the required permits to fish Connecticut, New York, and Rhode Island waters, both in and offshore. Above all else Capt. Julio always uses good, safe, and prudent judgement to protect the safety of his guests and his vessel, and allows you to relax and enjoy your day of fishing aboard Cast-Off!
